You'll notice that it is now January 9th, and I have not yet written the standard "New Years Resolution" post. I don't really have any resolutions this year, but rather a list of questions that I hope to answer before the year is over. I'll just mention them here (at least, the ones I have thought of so far) and work through each of them in more detail in a future post.
- Am I a photographer, or just a guy with a camera?
- Am I a blogger, or just a guy with a blog?
- Can I improve my end-to-end photography workflow? Using only free software?
- Would a DSLR be worth what it would cost me? And what would it really cost me?
- Does it make sense to try to earn money with photography part-time?
There are almost certainly more questions to add to this list, but these are the ones that I have, so far, formulated clearly enough to be ready to put them in writing. Stay tuned for future posts as I try to get these trains of thought out of the terminal and moving toward new destinations.
And don't worry, I'll try to ensure that this blog isn't just about me, Me, ME. I'm got plans for some software reviews and some more tuturials in the works.

OOOOH....tutorials? Yeah...I would read those if they start out with the basics. I have stayed away from DSLRs b/c they intimidate me. I don't even know (understand) all the settings on my point-shoot camera. But I LOVE taking beautiful photos.
